Some of you have been complaining about troubles getting up-to-date data from Facebook Insights the last few days. Some metrics are either unavailable or more than one week old.
Wise uses Facebook Insights’ API to retrieve the data for the pages we’re tracking, so we’ve been affected by this same problem too.
We’ve filled a bug report a few days ago (becoming the #1 trending bug on Facebook’s Bug report platform) and yesterday it has moved to priority “high”. A few hours ago, the support team has let us know that they’re backfilling the data and will update us when it completes.
So be patient, it seems the Facebook team is working hard to get this fixed ASAP. We’ll update this post whenever we have more news to share.
February 6, 2012 update : it seems most metrics are up to date except a few ones stucked in January 24.
February 13, 2012 update : the bug has been fixed. You should have access to all your data by now.
February 20, 2012 update : Insights are down again. No access to various metrics after February 13.
February 28, 2012 update : should be back again.

You’re right Pete, Insights are down again. No data after february 12. There have been new bug reports submitted to Facebook on this issue.

This still doesn’t work. Any idea when? Or did they take it down for good.
